Quit Making Fun Of Me....

Yes, it's a miracle that I'm posting more and more often. I tell ya I'm inspired :) Anyway, when you don't have a job and when you should be working on other things.... you find time to post.

So this morning I get a call from a staffing agency. They have got me an interview that takes place tomorrow. So that's pretty exciting, it's good pay, but it's a temp to hire deal. Which personally I don't mind. Gives me the chance to see if I want it or not. Last thing I need is to be stuck working for some psycho. (Read The Devil Wears Prada and you'll know what I'm talking about)

So since I haven't been on interviews in a long time, I'm really bad at it. I just get too nervous and half the time I want to choke the person interviewing me. I know what I can do and what I'm really good at, however how is that person really going to know that? Unless you actually hire the me, you're not going to know. So here's where the temp to hire deal works in my favor.

But now I had to go the Staples (Office Supply Store) to get some "resume" paper. Which I think is a bunch of crock. Sure it's "nicer" paper, but it's it worth the 10 bucks!? Too bad I didn't take some bond paper when my job closed.

Holy Cow.... 2 Posts in 1 Month!?

Yes, yes the world is coming to an end. You know what I realized? When your unemployed you just as busy as when you're employed. Go figure! But hey, I'm in no rush to get a new job.... at all.... well earning some money would be nice.

So here I am at my parents house (nevermind they live next door) and I just said to Aaron "Baby let's go home!" then I hear him scurry and tell my father "Hide Dad!". Nice. By the way calling his grandfather "Dad" it's just easier on him. So here's Aaron's name for us:

Me: Mommy, Ma or Mama
Eduardo: Papi (however, while we were in Mexico Aaron was calling Eduardo Tio [Uncle in Spanish] for the first couple of days)
Grandma: Mama or Mommy (I think he calls her that because he hears me calling my mom "Mama or Mommy")
Grandpa: Dad or My Dad
Yoly: Nana
Danny: Hey T!

He's so clever! Am I talking too much about my kid oh that's too bad. Remember you chose to read this blog ;)

So I post about every 6 months....

There's nothing that I can do about it. So here I am back in Chicago. I spent a month in Mexico with my husband (Don't ask about immigration, that's another issue). It was really nice and while I was in Mexico, I couldn't help but appreciate all the benefits you have in the US. I won't get into it too much, but I had a great time and I'm somewhat happy to be home.

Part of my reason for coming back home was because I had to take Aaron to his Pre-School appointment. Pre-School :( My baby is off to school. Granted it's only for 4 hours, but STILL! There's so much to get done before he gets there. Oh here's where I appreciate schools here in the US.

Did you know that in Mexico you have to pay for your kids education? It goes from K-9 grade and that's it. You're spending about 30 bucks on the uniform, which is a lot of money over there and I think there's a monthly fee. Then if you want to kids to go high school that's another 90 bucks you're shelling out - a month!. Crazy!
